Shelby Bates hails from Jericho, New York and now resides in Jupiter, Florida. A former Division I college tennis player at Coastal Carolina University, Bates began her professional pickleball career in September 2022 and has quickly emerged as one of the top women's pros in the game. Outside of pickleball, Bates enjoys EDM music and traveling.
