And that is a wrap! Good way to end it. I was really happy with the way that I played. Jack and Bobbi obviously played great throughout both the matches, super solid all the way through. Great way to end the season with a bang after I'd lost a couple with both of those partners, so I think that we were able to really rebound well. I was happy with how I was able to keep my body healthy throughout the week. I felt great and in a really fun, backyard environment for me, it's not that far away from my house, so had all my family out here too, which was great.

12:58 p.m.

Definitely happy to get this last one with Bobbi. I thought we played a great match, really complete all the way through. I thought she played great the whole tournament, especially given how much she played. She had five matches yesterday with the way that the draw was structured. So she's been playing a lot this week, and she played steady all the way through. I'm really proud of her and how we finished out the year, especially having a rough stretch there in the middle where we weren't able to win any so happy to end really strong.

Now just getting ready for my next one, I play men's dubs after the women's. So gonna go change and stretch out, get ready to go and I'm excited for that one too.

Saturday, December 13th, 2025

3:09 p.m.

We had a good couple of matches there. The first one, we got up to a slow start. Credit to Mark and Casey. They put a lot of pressure on what their game plan was - play the middle a lot, play the middle dink a lot. And what Jack and I said is we're just going to look to take that ball out of the air and play aggressive. That's not typically how my game plays, so I was kind of going after something I wasn't as comfortable with, which is smart on their end, because they forced me to do something I'm not as comfortable with. But after that, I thought we did a really good job of being aggressive and being the aggressor in the match. That ultimately ended up being the difference.

In the mixed match, same thing, actually, they came out more aggressivly. Kat was taking the ball out of the air well and attacking me really well. Then Ronan was doing a good job dictating how the point played at the kitchen with aggressive dinks. The way we changed that is, Bobbi started being a little bit more aggressive through Ronan, and that backed him off a little bit. And then we found a little bit of breathing room at the kitchen line. We were able to take advantage and end up closing that one out too.

Gonna rest up for the rest of the day and get ready for tomorrow for both finals. Definitely enjoying the progressive draw. It's a lot easier on the body not having to play all the way through the draw each day. However, I know it's pretty tough, because a lot of players have to stay here for a long time. So if you have a job it's a little bit more expensive as well. But for the for saving your body's sake, it's definitely, definitely helpful.

Just gonna recover a little bit, gonna get my compression boots on, save the legs, eat a good meal and get ready for tomorrow.

11:31 a.m.

I got here a little early today, getting ready for two semifinal matches in mixed and men's doubles. My matches are back-to-back today, so making sure to stretch out and get my body right beforehand. Got to make sure to eat and hydrate a little bit more too, just so I'm ready for that and can play 100 percent through both. But excited for a great day. Today should be fun, there's nice weather and I'm ready to go!

Friday, December 12th, 2025

3:19 p.m.

I just played my mixed doubles match against Clayton Powell and Ava Cavataio. Bobbi is a warrior. She's battling all three events right now, and she won all three today, so power to her - maybe a little Triple Crown hunt, it would be awesome for her to get that. We played a great match, truly solid. I thought we just played a really complete match all the way through, didn't really have any mental hiccups, so that was great. I'm gonna get stretched out now and get ready for tomorrow and hopefully have a great day tomorrow again.

12:32 p.m.

That was a tough match. They're two guys that we haven't played before. We came out a little flat-footed, a little sloppy. We were able to clean it up throughout the match and ended up playing better and got it done in a close third set. But two solid players on the other end, they had a good run here. You're seeing that more and more, a lot of new players are jumping in. There's a lot of new talent, and they're very good players. They have good hands, they're athletic, and it's tough, every match is getting really, really tough now, so you've got to stay focused throughout a whole tournament to get it done.

11:24 a.m.

Excited for another great day today, about to play men's dubs. We're warming up, I got a good stretch in and we're just about to start hitting. We're playing two guys we haven't played before in Jordan Chrysostom and Brandon Fritze. So trying to figure them out early and then make sure we stay grounded in our game and not trying to overplay. One of the advantages to the progressive draw is that we got the order of play for the entire day last night, and definitely it helps to know the exact order and being able to plan out when your warm up is and keep it really disciplined.

Thursday, December 11th, 2025

3:27 p.m.

Bobbi and I had a pretty good match there. I thought it was high-level all around, honestly. Most points were won off of winners or good counters. We played Mark Dancuart and Emilia Schmidt. Playing Mark is always fun, he's a really good friend of mine. We practice a lot together, he's a great guy, and it's hard sometimes, playing your friends, but when we step on the court, it is all business. So I'm happy to have a good match there and get it done and get ready for tomorrow. Men's dubs and mixed for me tomorrow, starting at noon, so check out the stream!

2:06 p.m.

So I had a little bit of a break before mixed. Here they played singles between so it was men's dubs and singles and then mixed doubles. So I played my men's doubles earlier today, and then had a little bit of a break and I'm getting ready for mixed now.

Someone was asking me about my about my new shoes. I used to wear really hot pink Asics, but I I toned it down a little bit. I've now got a little bit of a pastel pink in the Daps, so I'm excited for these. They're great shoes, and it's been really awesome rocking them. They're super comfortable, they have an amazing insole, and the rubber on them is is really grippy, and they last a long time. RIP the Asics!

8:31 a.m.

I got here this morning, really focused on preparing for the match. I had a good discussion with Jack on how we wanted to play this team. This is the team we lost to in Mesa. That was just kind of an error-prone match out in Mesa, and we adjusted the shots that we wanted to hit, and it really paid off. We played a really good, solid match there with great strategy, and we were focused all the way through, I'm happy with that result. We kind of wanted to send a message with that one.

I'm going back home, gonna rest up and get ready for mixed later.

Wednesday, December 10th, 2025

4:49 p.m.

A slow start to that one, it was definitely on me. Came out with just like a little bit of a lack of intensity, and they got up to a good lead. We were able to battle it back in the first game and win 11-9 and then played a really solid second game. So I'm happy with how Bobbi and I finished it out. But I definitely need to focus on on starting a little better tomorrow.

After this, I'm just gonna stretch out a little bit and go home. I think my girlfriend might make some dinner, hopefully salmon and asparagus tonight I think, so excited for another great day tomorrow.

11:41 a.m.

I had a tough match against Tristan in singles, he is very talented, and he played a good match. I actually played pretty solid myself too, but he just got the better of me there.

I took a little break, drove away to get refocused for the for the next match, came back, picked Jack up and got warmed up. I actually played Tristan again. So played him in singles, lost to him and then had a good match against him in doubles. Jack and I played a pretty complete match there, and now getting ready for mixed with Bobbi. I'm going to take a little break and go grab some lunch in the player tent, and rest up a little bit. It's hot out here today, so I'm going to make sure to drink a lot of water.

8:34 a.m.

Excited for day two today. I have all three events, starting with singles, then men's dubs and then mixed. It's definitely a different format where we have to play all three events and warm up separately for each one, so making sure to connect with your partners and get a good warm up in versus just playing the same event is important. You kind of find a groove all day, it's a little bit different.

Fortunately, I live here, so it's definitely comfortable. I get to sleep in my own bed. It's a bit of a drive, but it's better to be in your home environment, for sure. I would much rather be at home and not having to be out of a hotel, and being able to cook meals at my house just makes things a lot more comfortable for a tournament.

Up first is men's singles. I played Tristan Dussault. I haven't played him before, I know he's a younger guy, but I'm sure he's very talented and I'm excited for a good match.

Tuesday, December 9th, 2025

12:54 p.m.

So we had a little bit of a rain delay, probably like an hour-and-a-half late on the match, because we're playing only on the covered courts now. I got a good warm up in and a good stretch, and then I played Bakó Gergő, he's from Hungary, good European player, and he definitely has a tennis background. So starting out, I did a really good job of returning well and making sure he didn't really find a rhythm passing, and got off to a good start in the first set and closed out well. Second set, he had a little bit more confidence in his passes. He started off pretty well. I was able to neutralize in the middle of the set, play some good points and then get a lead. But he's a good player for sure, so credit to him. It was a good battle. After that, I just watched my girlfriend a little bit and supported her in singles. She lost a tough one, and gonna watch her play some mixed later, grab some lunch, and then get ready to rest up for for tomorrow, I have men's, mixed and singles.

8:40 a.m.

Day one of the progressive draw, a new format for the APP. So we're here a couple days earlier, and we'll see how it plays out. It's just one match per day of each bracket. Now I'm just getting ready to warm up, getting ready for my match. I have a bye so my opponents are playing right now, and then I play the winner of that
for men's singles.

It's the last tournament of the year. There's definitely more meaning to it, it's one where you want to go out with a bang and set the precedent for next year and and have a great event here.
