The 2023 Mesa Open was a pickleball tournament held at Bell Bank Park in Mesa, Arizona, from March 29-April 2, 2023. The tournament featured singles, doubles, and mixed doubles competition for both amateur and professional players. The professional divisions were headlined by some of the top pickleball players in the world, including Hunter and Yates Johnson, Megan Fudge, Simone Jardim, Andrei Daescu, Susannah Barr, and the up-and-coming Pesa Teoni.

In the men's pro singles final, Hunter Johnson defeated Eduardo Irizarry to earn his third men's singles title of 2023. In the women's pro singles final, Salome Devidze defeated Megan Fudge to win her first gold medal of 2023. Todd and Jardim won their third consecutive women's pro doubles gold medal, while Daescu and Teoni won the men's pro doubles gold medals - marking Teoni's first career gold medal and Daescu's third-straight men's doubles title. Daescu and Barr the mixed pro doubles title to conclude the tournament - awarding Barr her first gold medal of 2023.

The 2023 Mesa Open was a major success, with a record number of players participating and a high level of competition. The tournament was a great showcase for the growth of pickleball in the United States.
