Ronan Camron earned his first APP gold medal when he defeated Will Howells in men's pro singles on Championship Sunday. Congrats and many, many more!
Trang Huynh-McClain earned her first-ever APP medal when she took bronze in the women's pro singles tournament. The first of many, no doubt!

Jennifer Dawson
earned a Triple Crown at the 2025 Mesa Open in the AARP Champions Division! She won the women's singles title, gold in mixed with Youssef Bouzidi, and gold in women's doubles with Lee Whitwell. That's definitely something to smile about!

Erik Lange and Max "Purple Jesus" Manthou
found themselves back atop the men's pro doubles podium at the 2025 Mesa Open. Although it is their fourth overall title, the gold is the duo's first of 2025. A round of applause is indeed in order!
Megan Fudge and Jill Braveman
collected their sixth women's pro doubles title of 2025 when they defeated Sofia Sewing and Amanda Hendry on Sunday. A half dozen gold medals for the No. 1 seed!

Sofia Sewing
continued her dominant run through the women's singles bracket in Mesa, coming away with her 8th title of 2025. Not too bad for her first year on the APP Tour!

Megan Fudge and Jack Munro
required only nine games to win their fifth mixed pro doubles title of the year. After having a bye in the Round of 32, only one of their matches went to three games. Talk about consistency!
Brandon "Cheetah" Lane
donned the cheetah hair print in Mesa, where he was the featured player blogger. From Thursday to Sunday, Lane wrote a total of 14 blog entries chronicling his experience at the 2025 Mesa Open, including a memorable matchup that had him playing against his wife, Glauka. Read the blog here.

Collegiate Teams
made their way to the Arizona Athletic Grounds last week, as the APP Selkirk Collegiate Series Arizona Regional Qualifier took place at the same time. Twenty-two teams is an amazing turnout - the future of pickleball is BRIGHT as the desert sun!

The Pickleball Hall of Fame
inducted three new members during the 2025 APP Mesa Open, Cammy MacGregor, Chris Miller, and the APP's very own Melissa McCurley. This brings the total number of inductees to 36! The three were then introduced on Championship Court the next day, along with their fellow inductees. What a special honor for the pickleball community's strongest pillars!

The Arizona Athletic Grounds boasts a total of 41 pickleball courts within its confines. This includes four medal courts and one Championship Court. Those sunset views are just the cherry on top!

Was the average high temp
throughout the 2025 APP Mesa Open. Sunglasses weather in November? We'll take it.
