Debuting in South Florida at The Fort, APP Academy will be the first-ever US and international boarding pickleball training and development program.
APP Academy will debut on January 2025 with its full-time non-boarding program, and its 2025-2026 full-time academic international boarding program will start on August 2025.
Leaders are positive role models who have a profound influence on other individuals. Our belief is to influence and guide our students through leadership, self-awareness, courage, respect, and compassion.
We believe that all student-athletes should be challenged in a way that not only helps them survive adversity but also bounce back and be resilient in competition and in life.
All players are held to a high ethical standard. We encourage all student-athletes to remain true and honest to their family values and strong moral principles. We also encourage all players to prioritize making good choices with their peers over personal gains.
With the Academy staff’s philosophy on each individual’s quality of work, student-athletes will remain committed to their tasks at hand both on and off the court and push back against inevitable roadblocks.
First boarding begins August 2025
Full details of the APP Academy boarding section will be announced in September.
APP Academy supports academic success and believes that education should not take a back seat to performance training. Rather, our methods are geared toward producing well-rounded and well-educated student-athletes. We provide cutting-edge technology, tutorial support, and ACT/SAT prep courses while offering the flexibility and attention that serious athletes require.
We will launch our pricing structure in September, for our winter/spring 2025 session. Registration will begin in September.
Any junior player looking to improve their skills and have a successful journey in the sport, whether at junior, collegiate, or professional tournaments, or just to have FUN!
A junior will have the opportunity to obtain a junior membership at the Fort to play additionally with family and friends if enrolled in either the APP Academy or the Fort’s junior program. This membership can be obtained when we open registration in September.
We will move the academy to the covered courts in case of rain.
A student can arrange a private lesson with one of the academy's high-performance coaches by contacting Dee Davison at ddavison@theapp.global.
A player’s skill level will be assessed using their UTR rating, current tournament results, and/or playing history. Additionally, 30-minute evaluations can be scheduled by booking time with one of the instructors on staff.
Registration will start in September, for both the non-boarding full-day academy and the APP after-school program. A complete set of forms and payment options will be available. Spots will be filled on a first-come, first-served basis.
