Sunny skies, sandy beaches, and a Golden Ticket tournament – what more could you ask for? The APP Tour is back and better than ever as we venture to Orange County for the 2024 OWL APP Newport Beach Open.
The APP Tour - the world’s first and the world’s best pro and amateur pickleball tour - returns to one of California’s premier venues, the Tennis and Pickleball Club at Newport Beach, for five days of nonstop pickleball action. More than 1,800 pickleball players from around the world will hit the courts this week in Newport Beach featuring amateurs of all ages, pickleball’s elite pros, and the AARP Champions (50+) and Masters (60+) Divisions. Medals and prize money are up for grabs on national TV broadcasts on ESPN2.
The 2024 OWL APP Newport Beach Open is our third Major tournament of the year, bringing enhanced prize pools and tournament draws throughout the week. The event is also a USA Pickleball Golden Ticket event, meaning gold medalists earn the right to secure their spot at the USAP National Championships in November.
As the APP heads to LA, we're bringing plenty of star power. Here are the top storylines heading into the 2024 OWL APP Newport Beach Open.
