The Association of Pickleball Players (APP) has unveiled the 2026 schedule for its AARP Champions and AARP Masters Divisions, the premier pickleball circuit for professionals ages 50 and older. The 2026 event calendar will take place across all ten APP Tour stops and includes the return of its headline event, the AARP Open, taking place March 26-29 in Seattle.

The APP recently announced its nationally televised APP Tour event calendar for 2026, which focuses on larger events, each featuring expanded prize purses, enhanced fan experiences, and more linear TV broadcast hours throughout the year, continuing to reinforce the APP’s reputation as the most credible name in pickleball. The AARP Champions and AARP Masters Division competition will be an integral part of these events. The 2026 AARP Open will celebrate Champions and Masters play while welcoming all players from the 3.0 level to the pros, showcasing intergenerational talents to a global audience.

“Pickleball is an inclusive sport for everyone regardless of age, and the AARP Champions and AARP Masters Divisions are a true testament to that,” said APP Founder Ken Herrmann. “Their passion and energy will be on full display and serve as a reminder of what the APP is all about. We are especially proud to join forces once again with our great partners at AARP to host these elite seasoned professionals for another remarkable season.”

“Pickleball is truly a sport for life—it keeps people active, competitive, and connected,” said Barbara Shipley, Senior Vice President, Brand Integration at AARP. “We’re proud to celebrate the inspiring athletes competing in the AARP Champions and AARP Masters Divisions across the APP Tour. It’s especially meaningful to bring the AARP Open to Seattle, in the state where pickleball began—welcoming players of all ages into the game.”
