The Association of Pickleball Players (APP), in partnership with Pickleball Kingdom, today announced the first four stops of the APP Moneyball Series hosted by Pickleball Kingdom. Beginning October 30 in Ocala, Florida, the series will bring professional and aspiring professional players to indoor clubs in four cities through December, with $15,000 guaranteed at each stop. Built for professional and aspiring professional players, the series gives competitors a chance to play close to home, earn prize money, accumulate APP Tour ranking points and ultimately pursue a pro player contract on the APP Tour, the official tour of pickleball.

APP Tour pros Allison Harris and Andre Mick have been named Player Ambassadors for the APP Moneyball Series, serving as liaisons and resources for all players in pursuit of their professional careers in pickleball.

‍

The 2026 APP Moneyball Series schedule is below:

Oct. 30 – Nov. 1: Ocala, FL (Pickleball Kingdom Ocala)

Nov. 27 – 29: Cincinnati, OH (Pickleball Kingdom Cincinnati Mason)

Dec. 18 – 20: North Aurora, IL (Pickleball Kingdom North Aurora)

Dec. 28 – 30: Austell, GA (Pickleball Kingdom South Cobb)

‍

The APP and Pickleball Kingdom will announce the 2027 schedule in late 2026.

Five competition divisions will be played: women’s singles, men’s singles, women’s doubles, men’s doubles and mixed doubles. First place in each singles division earns $1,000, second place earns $600, and third place earns $275. In doubles divisions the prize totals are doubled, with first place teams earning $2,000, second place earning $1,200, and third place earning $550.

Players also earn APP Tour ranking points based on their results, creating a direct connection between local competition and the APP’s national and international player pathway. Following the final posted APP Moneyball Series rankings in June 2027, the top three ranked finishers per event (WS, MS, WD, MD, MXD) will earn APP Tour contracts based on their final ranking position. Contracts will be non-exclusive, allowing recipients the freedom to compete in other professional events while pursuing their professional pickleball careers. The complete ranking points table and additional information on player contracts are available via TheAPP.global/Moneyball.

Every event will follow the same three-day schedule: women’s and men’s singles on day one, women’s and men’s doubles on day two, and mixed doubles on day three. Players begin in balanced round-robin pools based on DUPR ratings, with advancing players moving into a seeded, single-elimination championship bracket. Gold and bronze medal matches close out each division. The APP will provide dedicated referees for each event, who will lead all rules applications and officiate all semifinal and gold medal matches.

“We’re excited to officially put the APP Moneyball Series on the calendar and bring meaningful competition to players in four different regions before the end of the year,” said APP Tour founder Ken Herrmann. “Alongside our friends at Pickleball Kingdom, we are giving players more opportunities to compete for prize money, build their APP rankings and take the next step toward the APP Tour. This is how we bring the pathway closer to the players who are ready to pursue it.”

“Pickleball Kingdom is about creating places where players can compete, improve and pursue what’s next,” said Dalton Robinson, Director of Pickleball at Pickleball Kingdom. “This partnership with the APP takes that another step forward by creating a competitive pathway that begins inside our premiere indoor facilities and can lead all the way to the professional stage.”

“As a player, I know how valuable it is to have strong competition within reach and a clear reason to keep pushing,” said APP pro Allison Harris. “The APP Moneyball Series gives players a chance to measure themselves against talented opponents, earn ranking points and see where that work can take them. I’m excited to be part of a series that opens more doors for the next wave of pros.”

Initially announced in August, the APP Moneyball Series combines the APP’s ranking system and professional development pathway with Pickleball Kingdom’s network of indoor clubs and local pickleball communities. The new series adds competitive opportunities between major APP Tour events and builds on the organizations’ existing work connecting Pickleball Kingdom players with the APP. It also complements APP Academy and APP Next as another entry point into the broader APP ecosystem.

Registration is now open for all APP Moneyball Series events. Players can find additional details and registration links on the APP Moneyball Series page at TheAPP.global/Moneyball.
