The APP is a proud supporter of USA Pickleball, the nonprofit National Governing Body of our sport. 

Since its inception in 1984, USA Pickleball has provided independent leadership and governance that has helped propel pickleball to the status it enjoys today as America’s fastest-growing sport. 

Free from the conflicts of interest that are presented by a single commercial entity attempting to “own” our sport, USA Pickleball equitably and neutrally serves all  50 million pickleball players across the USA – from those picking up a paddle for the first time to the best professional players in the world. 

The APP strongly believes that an independent regulatory and governance organization is critical to the credibility, development and growth of pickleball, a sport that is so important to so many people. 

USA Pickleball is that organization.
